Partnerships are at the core of what we do at clovio – and SiGMA’s Affiliate Grand Slam is one of our favorite ways to collaborate with peers and partner with stakeholders in the online gambling industry.
A renowned gaming and tech events company, SiGMA is on a mission to create opportunities for connection both online and through in-person events. The organization is best known for hosting the World’s Gaming Festival, which takes place every year in locations across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. But SiGMA organizes a variety of other events such as networking iGaming gatherings, its annual Gaming Awards, and even an event for start-ups looking to showcase their products to potential investors.
Online, SiGMA publishes a biannual magazine about the industry and keeps its website and YouTube channel regularly updated with the latest gaming news. The organization’s Affiliate Grand Slam is an exclusive affiliate club that connects affiliate start-ups with the online gambling industry.
As a member of the program, we were invited to speak with the SiGMA team about our experience in the industry, how we build relationships with operators, and why we find value in attending iGaming events worldwide.
Why Networking Matters in the Online Gambling Industry
As a media company, affiliate marketing is an integral part of our business model and something we implement across all our media domains. For our Feeling Lucky sites, that has meant finding ways to connect with operators and advertisers to feature their online casino games and sports betting opportunities in unique and innovative ways. Being a part of SiGMA’s Affiliate Grand Slam has made that process much more seamless for us.
The affiliate club has not only been a great place for us to establish partnerships with operators, but it also allowed us to explore new opportunities in the gambling media landscape and to connect with our peers to both inspire and be inspired by their work.
And while we like that everything we do at clovio is online, we deeply value the opportunities to connect in person too. That’s why we regularly attend gambling conferences such as SiGMA to connect with partners, attend speaking sessions and workshops, and participate in networking events. In the end, we are all trying to achieve the same goal: to get people across the world excited about the gambling industry and turn iGaming fans into lucky winners.
