We are seeking a Junior Web Developer who is eager to help us build great web experiences for the audience of our media. In this full-time position with an indefinite contract, you will be joining a young international team passionate about informing people and guiding them in discovering the latest products and services.

With your PHP/MySQL, JavaScript and HTML skills you will help us with frontend and backend development of content-oriented websites and applications. You will get to work with existing plugins, develop your own plugins and solutions and provide various other custom web development solutions for mostly WordPress-driven websites.

Responsibilities

  • Creating custom plugins, applications for WordPress.
  • Integrate third-party plugins and solutions.
  • Working with our content team, management to create new initiatives.
  • Improving front-end, back-end code for seamless cross-device experience.
  • Giving back to the open source community.

Experience & Background

You have profound experience developing websites and applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and HTML code that you either acquired through your higher education or through earlier work experience. Your knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 enables you to make sure that the websites and solutions you develop render well on different browsers and devices. With your communication skills and basic knowledge of written and spoken English you can work together with the team to create new online projects.
